What is an active exhaust system?

The Terminator electronic active exhaust system is a device with an amplifier and speakers connected to the vehicle’s CAN bus. It simulates the sound of a sports car or a custom exhaust without interfering with the regular exhaust system.

The system is connected to the control unit via a CAN bus, and the speakers are mounted under the bottom in the rear of the car (next to the standard muffler) using a set of fasteners. The installation does not require welding, special skills and takes only 2-4 hours. You can install it at any car service station or even independently.

The sound is controlled via the mobile app: you can change the volume and select the timbre of the exhaust in 2 clicks from your smartphone.

When selling a car, the kit is easy to dismantle and transfer to a new one – the investment remains with you.

This is a speaker system that creates the sound of a sports car without interfering with the regular system. The sound is played through the speakers and does not require replacement or alteration. This system is also called an active exhaust.

Is it possible to install an electronic exhaust on any car?

The electronic exhaust is suitable for gasoline and diesel cars, hybrids and electric vehicles. The active exhaust can be installed on most brands and models without changes to the standard system.

Can you hear that the active exhaust sound is not real?

The active exhaust sound is 100% not real, yet in 99% of cases, people nearby cannot tell that the sound is generated by an electronic exhaust system.
